Where are my creative peeps?

You know who you are! My right-brained people who just need to create. Our Heavenly Father is the original creative! In the beginning, God created the heavens and filled the earth with such Majestic beauty! Even the Heavens declare the glory of God!

We do not serve an in-the-box one-size-fits-all God.

So why not communicate with God in creative ways?

No longer do we need a High Preist to offer sacrifices or atone for our sins. Jesus is our mediator and great High Priest. Have you ever thought about communicating with God through your art or another innovative way?

  4. Wow, what a fun book. I think I might just love that, and I don’t even have it yet. Thanks so much for sharing that, Misty. Love to think about the creativity of God. In obvious ways (hello…creation), but in so many other ways as well. (e.g. — every single unique personality out there. How many millions of people have lived, and every one of us is unique.) Only God. 🙂 — Thank you for highlighting this sweet book, Misty, and thanks for sharing with #ChasingCommunity. ((hug))

  5. So thankful that God meets us where we are at, that worship is not limited to one thing or another. I’m really detail-oriented and that’s not something I try to advertise to others too much but I’m thankful that God isn’t bogged down by my detailed prayers and thoughts. Crazy to think they are actually worshipful to Him…I would not have realized that without reading your post. Thanks Misty!

  6. I worship best in the quietness, sometimes that’s in nature, sometimes when I’m sitting in my quiet time chair with my Bible, sometimes it’s when I’m driving. I also love to meet with God in corporate worship, singing praises to God. And sometimes I worship just playing the piano and singing in the quiet of my own living room or writing poetry or certain blog posts.

  7. I just wanted to thank you for your review of my book! It won’t be a surprise if you’ve read anything I’ve written, but one of my favorite ways to engage with God is through writing. Just me and Him and a journal in my living room… And it’s times like those that led to this book! 🙂 Thanks again!
