Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV

Hey Friends, Thanks for visiting By His Grace today, I am so glad that you are here. I am a busy wife to Peter and mom to three sons and one daughter-in-love living in a fallen world in need of a bunch of grace! Which is why I named my Blog and Podcast: By His Grace.

I am an author, podcaster, blogger, speaker, and Bible teacher who is passionate about inspiring women to live authentically for Jesus! I also believe we are better together and host a monthly Christian Mastermind meeting and am the Houston Connection Director for Christian Women in Media. I am passionate about seeking Jesus, loving the word, and growing in grace! He is everything Y’all! And it is by his grace that we are here to draw another breath each day. Everything is for Him, and by Him and through Him!

On the blog, you will find posts from the By His Grace Podcast guests. There I also share devotions on Christian Living, Motherhood, Marriage, Homeschooling, Hospitality and anything else the Lord is teaching me at the time.

God called me home from my corporate job at Enron in 1999 to devote myself fulltime to being a wife and mom. Shortly after coming home, I began to homeschool my boys. As the boys grew I felt God’s call to write, blog, and speak in preparation for the next season in my life after homeschooling.

We are part of a fantastic church, Champion Forest Baptist Church, and the Biblical-literacy class.

Through the years at home devoted to my family, I have learned many valuable life lessons.  My desire is to impart some wisdom through the posts here. Life has not always been easy, but God has always been there to see me through.

When I am not online, my days are filled with loving my husband, raising and educating my boys, studying my Bible, encouraging friends, writing and blogging, cooking yummy healthy meals, honing my hospitality skills and feathering my nest. You will often find me with a good cup of coffee or tea in my hands and a book nearby. I love having a house full of people and am always inviting friends and family into our home.

Welcome to my little slice of the web. I hope you will make yourself at home while you are here and if you ever have questions or need prayer, please reach out to me through my contact information.

Much Love, Misty
